Meet Jill

Jill believes in the power of collaboration and affirmation. It’s normal to feel difficult emotions and when we give ourselves permission to not be okay and explore root causes, we begin to take control back from experiences that might hold us down each day. Jill works with clients from a strength-based approach to help them use their resiliency to get through the inevitable ups and downs of life.

Jill understands that therapy can be an uncomfortable and difficult journey for people. Because of this, she places a large emphasis on rapport building and tries to balance going at the pace of the client while also challenging them to embrace discomfort. She walks alongside clients to encourage them to take one step forward and do things that although might be scary, will empower them to say “I did it!”

What is one piece of advice that you would
give someone considering counseling?

“Be patient with yourself. Therapy is a journey and includes some highs and lows during the process. Also, therapy is for you and you are the ultimate decision maker. Don't be afraid to speak up about your needs or if something doesn't feel right.”
